BORDERLINES: SETESDAL

The 2018 incarnations of Traavik.Infos moving (since 2011) installation BORDERLINES are dedicated to our good friend and collaborator Frode Berg.

One year ago he was arrested in Moscow and has since been awaiting trial in FSB’s notorious Lefortovo prison for espionage, largely thanks to an astonishing mix of incompetence and cynicism on the part of his recruiter(s) in the Norwegian Military «Intelligence» Services.

On October 27, 2018, BORDERLINES: SETESDAL was inaugurated on the old farmstead Heimigard Rysstad in Setesdal, Southern Norway. The four border posts now flank northern Europe's oldest wooden outbuilding pre-dating even the Black Death, just like the ancient neighbour quarrels still going on over demarcation lines between family properties in the region.

BORDERLINES: SETESDAL is a cooperation between Traavik.info, Pikene på Broen, film director Knut Erik Jensen and Ole Rysstad.
